Sonar and Echolocation
The reflection of sound waves is the same thing as diffraction of sound waves. Sound can diffract off of corners and objects so they can fill the room, fill a part of the room, or come back to you. Echolocation is when is sound waves are used to locate things or animals. For example, bats use echolocation to find food in the dark.
