Traveling Through Conditions
The speed of sound depends on the density and stiffness of the medium. The different mediums sound can travel through are gases, liquids, and solids. For example, if the medium is air it will travel at 342 (m/s), and if it is steel it will travel at 5, 200 (m/s).
